PT Alam Energy Renewables (Alam Energy) has completed a 637kWp (DC) rooftop solar power plant for PT Kanemory Food Service (KFS), a joint venture between PT. Kanematsu Trading Indonesia (an Indonesian subsidiary of Kanematsu Corporation) and PT. Macroprima Panganutama (one of the core companies of Indonesia’s Cimory Group) that operates food processing and a central kitchen. The completion ceremony was held on September 3, 2025.
In this project, Alam Energy installed a 637kWp industrial roof-mounted solar power system covering a total area of approximately 2,790m2 for the KFS plant located in Cikande, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. The electricity generated by this power plant will be used by KFS.
KFS operates a food processing and central kitchen business in Indonesia. Since its establishment in 2012, the company has expanded its operations, driven by factors such as the entry of Japanese companies into Indonesia, the sale of original frozen food products, and its compliance with Halal certification.
With the installed solar power system, approximately 15% of KFS’s annual electricity consumption will be replaced by renewable energy, which is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 516 tons per year.
