Management Message
Shizen Energy, together with Alamport, has started its endeavor in Indonesian solar business in 2018. After the first rooftop solar project for the Japanese automobile factory was completed in 2019, PT Alam Energy Renewables (“Alam Energy”) was established in collaboration with ATW Group, to provide solar PV solutions to companies in need of renewable energy and affordable electricity.
With Shizen Energy’s purpose, “Take action for blue planet”, Alam Energy would like to contribute to the acceleration of the renewable transition in Indonesia. Indonesia has announced its commitment to reach net zero emissions by 2060 in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 26) held in 2021. With abundant renewable resources, we strongly believe in Indonesia’s potential to create positive impact on sustaining and passing the blue planet on to the next generation. Hand-in-hand with all our customers, partners, and stakeholders, Alam Energy is committed to support your renewable energy objectives.
By the end of the year 2022, Alam Energy has delivered solar solutions to more than 6,200 kWp at 17 locations in 4 islands of Indonesia. 5 projects have been awarded with the Financing Programme for Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Model Projects by the Ministry of Environment of Japan. With Shizen Energy Group’s experience in development, EPC, and Operation & Maintenance businesses of more than 1GW renewable energy globally, Alam Energy provides reliable clean energy for our customers in Indonesia, overcoming challenges one by one. We look forward to working together toward renewable powered planet.
