PT Alam Energy Renewables (Alam Energy) has completed a 608kWp (DC) solar power plant for PT Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia, the Indonesian subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., and the completion ceremony was held on October 15, 2026.
In this project, Alam Energy installed a 608kWp industrial solar power system at the PT Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia plant located in Cibitung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. The electricity generated by this power plant will be used by HCMI.
As Indonesia’s main power generation relies heavily on coal-fired power, HCMI is expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 15,000 tons (CO2 equivalent) over 30 years by switching a portion of its electricity consumption to renewable energy. This will also contribute to the Indonesian government’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
