Alam Energy participated in the event of commissioning and operational preparation of 1.6MW rooftop solar power plant for Phase 1 at PT DNP Indonesia in Karawang, West Java, an Indonesian subsidiary of Dai Nippon Printing Co.,Ltd. (“DNP Indonesia”.) The event was held on August 7, participated by representatives from Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (Japan), DNP Indonesia, Shizen Energy Inc. (Japan), and Alam Energy.
Alam Energy develops rooftop solar PV to the factory of DNP Indonesia and the generated electricity will be supplied directly to the factory of DNP Indonesia.

Through the installation of the rooftop solar power plant, we will promote production of environmentally friendly products and help to solve international environmental issues. “ said Masayuki Emori, President Director of DNP Indonesia.
DNP Indonesia can reduce electricity costs by using price-competitive clean renewable energy without initial investments. In addition, by switching a portion of its electricity consumption to renewable energy sources, DNP Indonesia will contribute to the effective reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in its business activities. The Indonesian government has declared that the country will achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, and this project will also contribute to achieving that goal.
